Did you know that Leica Total Stations are used at athletic competitions? In just 1 to 2 seconds, the Total Station’s highly-precise laser beam can calculate the length of a throw or jump or the height of a pole vault within a millimeter. This technology has been used at the Olympic Games (Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, and Athens 2004).
