What is PowerDigger Lite?
The Leica PowerDigger Lite control system offers the basic grade control functions operators expect for their routine excavating work. Choose your reference and enter the desired cut and/or slope depth. Final grade and the offset from the bucket edge are displayed on your graphic screen. With PowerDigger Lite, you have the flexibility to work from different references such as existing surface, hub, stringline or a laser reference.

PowerDigger Lite is a product that contains different solutions which covers a large range of single slope applications. The PowerDigger Lite system is upgradeable, with an ultrasonic distance sensor, to be able to cover the complexity of extendable sticks on Backhoe excavators.
Trenching
Use the system to provide sub-centimeter depth guidance for any application. Simply enter the desired depth and slope into the in-cab display and create trenches for water, sewer and drainage pipes in minutes - all without the need for grade checkers to enter the excavation area!
Blind and Submerged Cuts
Use the system to ‘see’ underwater – designed specifically for dredging, clearing and operating in water. Just follow the position of the bucket by means of seven bucket position indicators on the main display.
Formation Layering
When filling material in pipe trenches or formations, just enter the desired material depth and slope required. The system can store multiple depths and slopes for several layers.
Grading
Grading uneven surfaces can be done with speed and ease. Just enter the desired depth and slope into the in-cab display or work directly from a rotating laser. Grading has never been so simple!
Height Alarm
Safety First! When digging in surroundings where there are objects above the excavator that are potentially dangerous (e.g. Power cables), you can set an Alarm Height that warns the operator of boom, stick, and bucket heights.
Profiles
Profile control at your fingertips - select from 1 of 10 different user defined profile settings. These can suit sewers, drainage, batter construction etc. Quickly and easily copy an existing or new complex profile consisting of up to 10 points.
